Superb genetics in this upstanding male
Bacchus is loaded with superb genetics from both his dam and sire. Sired by Softfoot Casstalas MD ET and out of Shamarra Venus (Rising Sun/Seventh Heaven lineage), with a predominantly colour background.
He has a striking presence along with excellent conformation and a gentle disposition. His dense, soft handling and uniform fleece carries a high frequency style crimp that is well aligned.
Bacchus has had a successful show career, winning numerous championships. Both his parents have been awarded NZ National Championship titles along with many other show titles.
With extensive colour in his pedigree, he has potential to be a valuable male in a colour breeding programme.

Turning the curves of the mountains and seeing the Akaroa peninsula, it's like heaven on earth. We had gorgeous weather, and coupled with the views, it made for a perfect visit to see the alpacas. On the tour, you travel to different pens, seeing the different animals. They each have their own personality and their fur is unbelievably soft. I highly recommend making a stop at Shamarra, and don't think a New Zealand vacation will be complete without it!”
