Shamarra Alpacas (formerly Silverdale Alpacas) is an established family owned farm located in Banks Peninsula, South Island, New Zealand. Our focus is on breeding superior quality Huacaya alpacas in white, fawns and browns.
We are passionate about alpacas and believe in the future of these unique animals in New Zealand and oversees.
We now offer farm tours, where visitors enjoy a hands on interactive alpaca experience.
